At the grassroots or
community level, football can be seen to provide a useful way of creating an
environment in which people can come together to work towards the same goal,
show respect for others and share space and equipment. All these aspects are
crucial to peace-building processes.
Football like any other
game should be enjoyed and fans should find pleasure in watching a game even
when they lose it. It is not a matter of life and death in light of that,
John Pofi Foundation was involve in a match between Young
Stars Club of Jos and John Pofi Foundation Academy Saturday 4th
May 2016, it ended in favor of John Pofi Foundation Academy 1:0.
The friendly match ended well and peaceful.
